TECNIA delivers custom made solutions for gases and air treatment. The use of the capacity to dissolve pollutant
gases into a liquid phase, is master engineered by our environmental specialists, using the most powerful software,
combined with the experience and knowledge.
Once the perfect dimensioning, project specifications and detailed engineering is done the equipment construction
takes place in TECNIA's workshop, following all the necessary material and construction standards.
Each process is delivered in accordance with the standards required by customers, ASTM, ANSI or other.
Following the absorption technological principle application and according to the treatment requirements,
we project, build and deliver the equipments included in the following three main categories:
Spray Chambers
For applications where the pollutant is highly soluble in the solution liquid, the removal takes place normally in a
single stage but series of several stages can be projected and assembled. Our spray chambers are designed not
only to take in account the solubility of the pollutant, but also, considering the flow pattern of the gases, in
order to optimize the effect on the transfer, caused by an adequate geometry of the spray chamber, spray nozzles
and cleaning liquid.
Plate Towers
Plate towers allow the treatment of gases containing higher amounts of pollutants and or medium/low solubility
substances in the solution/ cleaner liquid. For different substances, mass balances and heat balances, the Plate Tower
and additional equipment, is engineered.
If the substance to be removed is out of the used or known cases, TECNIA can develop prototypes, with preliminary
engineering solutions, in order to obtain the data needed for the development and construction of the final system.
Packed Towers
When considering the need for extremely high specific surface per unit volume of column, the use of an adequated
packed material in absorption columns, random or oriented, is one of the used technology engineered and integrated
by TECNIA.
